News About a16z Crypto's 7 Million USD Investment in the Blockchain Ticketing Platform KYD Labs

On May 14, CoinDesk reported that a16z Crypto led a $7 million seed funding round for the blockchain ticketing platform KYD Labs. KYD is built on Solana, aimed at helping artists and venues control ticket sales, fan data, and revenue, while addressing the issue of revenue loss due to the secondary market.

The benefits of the KYD system have become clear as ticket sales revenue at the famous LPR venue in New York increased by 30% after the implementation of this technology. By 2026, KYD is expected to expand to more than 100 locations in the United States and launch two Tokens, KYD and TIX, to strengthen the community and financial platform.
