A guest at the U.S. President Donald Trump's cryptocurrency dinner shared insider details.
25-year-old internet phenomenon Nicholas Pinto, who bought $360,000 worth of TRUMP tokens to attend a special crypto dinner hosted by US President Donald Trump, left the dinner hungry and disappointed. According to Fortune magazine, Pinto, who sat down after paying a large sum, said the food on the menu was terrible: "We had a piece of steak that looked like it was bought from Walmart." According to Pinto, the "Trump Organic Garden Salad" and "Double Main Course" ( beef tenderloin and fried sole ) served that night were not highly regarded by everyone at the table. "That was the worst meal we have ever had in our lives," Pinto said, adding that the biggest disappointment of the night was not being able to take a photo with Trump. Pinto said he hoped to try the Big Mac or Trump's favorite pizza when he attended the dinner party, and he thought it would be better than the food from the night before. However, his expectations were not met. Pinto said Trump's speech was "just empty words" and most guests did not have the opportunity to interact directly with the president. Even Caitlin Sinclair, the host of the dinner and also the presenter on the OANN media channel, complained: "Trump didn't even take a picture with me." Pinto's appearance at the dinner was also notable, as it faced opposition from the nonprofit organization Public Citizen, which called Trump's cryptocurrency projects "one of the most corrupt enterprises in U.S. political history." The co-chair of this organization, Robert Weissman, directly criticized the event. Pinto, who said he was still hungry after the event ended around 10 PM, ended the night with a late-night snack. "The only thing I could eat all night was the bread and butter that was handed out at the beginning," he concluded.
