So far, August has seen an unlikely sector leader in the form of Layer 2s. These have underperformed for probably 1-2 years but have recently found some bid on the back of $ETH outperforming.
Most of the rest of the market has been relatively flat from the start of August.
There are of course a handful of coins that have seen a strong performance which are beating these sector averages. Which just shows why picking out the winners is as important as ever.
