Gate.io Celebrates New Year with Global Business and Media Partners

To celebrate the arrival of 2023, Gate.io hosted New Year’s events in Vietnam and Turkey, inviting industry media and business partners who have worked with and supported Gate.io over the years.

A key role in the Turkish digital asset industry

In Turkey, Gate.io hosted guests including partners and media friends. Kafkas Sonmez, Head of Country of Gate Turkey, led the audience to review the important milestones in 2022 for Gate.io and the newly launched Gate TR exchange. Additionally, guests celebrated the coming new year together and shared insights and outlooks for the industry in 2023.

This past year marked a massive milestone as Gate Group revealed its Turkey-based cryptocurrency exchange Gate TR at Istanbul Blockchain Week in November. Additionally, Gate Charity, a non-profit blockchain philanthropy organization, completed its first charity initiative in Turkey that same month.

Furthering growth in Vietnam’s blockchain economy

Over 50 partners, thought leaders, and trade partners attended the event in Vietnam. At the event, Doan Thang, Community Manager of Gate Vietnam delivered a New Year’s speech, introducing Gate.io’s development history to guests and sharing achievements and Gate Charity’s philanthropic initiatives. In addition, guests participated in several activities to deepen relationships and facilitate discussions around the blockchain industry.

Following the successful charitable initiative in Turkey, Gate Charity commenced its second initiative in Vietnam, delivering food, clothing, and school supplies to over 280 children at an orphanage. Furthermore, Gate.io has deepened its partnership in Vietnam as it seeks to contribute growth and progress to the country’s quickly advancing blockchain economy.

The acceleration of blockchain and cryptocurrency adoption worldwide remains a key focus point for Gate.io. Vietnam and Turkey have rapidly emerged as global crypto hotspots, leading Gate.io to attach great importance to the two countries. The launch of Gate TR, strategic investments and partnerships, and philanthropic initiatives have already begun showing promising results. When combined with Gate.io’s prioritization of user safety and experience, 2023 is expected to see a continuation of 2022’s progress and growth.
